Santa Teresa Blanco is clean and smooth to the palate. This delicate complex aromatic rum has a fruity taste, with light and firm body. It is ideal for professional and home made cocktails and goes well with almost any type of juice and soda.
Technical
Santa Teresa Blanco is a blend of 2 to 5 years old rums, with 40% ABV. Continuous fermentation and distillation processes make it possible to get a very light spirit that is then aged in white American oak barrels and casks. It acquires its brightness and transparency during a particular fine charcoal filtering process.
By law in Venezuela spirits made from sugar cane need to be aged for a minimum of two years in oak barrels and get a minimum strength of alcohol by volume of 40% to be called “rum”. Santa Teresa’s products obtained the denomination of origin “Ron de Venezuela” in 2004. |
